Village Care Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Village Care Provider to join our team at Bluestem Village. As a Village Care Provider, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personalized care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and mobility support.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Assist residents with personal care functions, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while promoting their dignity and autonomy.
- Participate in the development and implementation of activities and programs that promote socialization, engagement, and overall well-being.
- Contribute to a safe and healthy environment by following infection control protocols, reporting incidents, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and support.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or equivalent experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in long-term care or a related field.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, lifting, and bending.
