Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of residents' needs and develop individualized treatment plans to improve their functional abilities and quality of life.
- Supervise and mentor Occupational Therapy Assistants and students to ensure they are providing high-quality care and adhering to professional standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and make referrals as needed.
- Prescribe and provide necessary durable medical equipment to facilitate independence and mobility.
- Maintain accurate and timely billing records and supervise clinical documentation.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure seamless care and address any concerns or issues.
- Current, unencumbered, active Colorado NBCOT License.
- National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
- Experience in providing care in post-acute or long-term care environments (preferred).
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in electronic medical records.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
As an Occupational Therapist at Bluestem Village, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, interacting with residents, families, and staff on a daily basis. You will be required to move intermittently during working hours, be subject to frequent interruptions, and work beyond normal duty hours as needed.
