Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Bluestem Village. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our residents achieve their maximum potential and maintain their independence.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical and cognitive abilities to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide occupational therapy interventions to help residents regain or maintain their functional abilities, including mobility, balance, and daily living skills.
- Supervise and train Occupational Therapy Assistants and other support staff to ensure high-quality care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate discharge planning.
- Prescribe and provide durable medical equipment to facilitate independence and mobility.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of resident care and billing information.
- Current, unencumbered, active Colorado NBCOT License.
- National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
- Experience in providing occupational therapy in post-acute or long-term care environments (preferred).
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in electronic medical records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
