Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Bluestem Village. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our residents achieve their maximum potential and maintain their independence.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical and cognitive abilities to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide occupational therapy interventions to help residents improve their functional abilities and participate in daily activities.
- Supervise and train Occupational Therapy Assistants and other support staff to ensure high-quality care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate discharge planning.
- Prescribe and provide durable medical equipment to facilitate independence.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of resident care and billing information.
- Current, unencumbered, active Colorado NBCOT License.
- National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
- Experience in providing care in post-acute or long-term care environments (preferred).
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in electronic medical records.
As an Occupational Therapist at Bluestem Village, you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for providing care to residents in various settings, including skilled nursing and rehabilitation units.
You will be required to move intermittently during working hours, be subject to frequent interruptions, and communicate with residents, family members, and other healthcare professionals. You may work beyond normal duty hours, on weekends, nights, and in other positions temporarily, when necessary.
