The Manager, Clinical Operations oversees and coordinates the activities of both professional and support staff delivering outpatient services in a healthcare environment.

This role operates within established protocols and procedures, utilizing advanced expertise to address moderately complex challenges. Assignments are received in the form of objectives, and the manager determines the strategy, resources, timelines, and targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement staffing strategies, policies, and procedures for the facility.
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to ensure the best patient outcomes.
  • Make decisions related to resource allocation, methodologies, and operational tactics for departmental projects.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration and conduct briefings and team meetings.
  • Maintain regular communication with other managerial staff across the organization.

Utilize Your Expertise to Drive Change

Essential Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated operational leadership experience in a multi-provider clinical setting.
  • Proven track record in leading, coaching, and mentoring teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including physicians, administrative staff, and healthcare executives.
  • Familiarity with Provider Communities and experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) or Health Information Management (HIMs) systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint in a professional context.
  • High level of engagement and emotional intelligence.
  • Passionate about enhancing consumer experiences within a healthcare organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of Population Health Strategies.
  • Knowledge of Medicare and managed care frameworks.
  • Experience in Value-Based Care models.
  • Ability to navigate a matrix management environment and work effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
  • Solid grasp of healthcare delivery systems, financial arrangements, and reimbursement processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience managing budgets exceeding $500,000.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

Additional Information:

Local travel may be necessary; mileage will be reimbursed.

Interview Process:

Language Proficiency:

Bilingual candidates must demonstrate proficiency in both English and Spanish without assistance.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Compensation:

The salary range reflects a good faith estimate for full-time employment. Individual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
