Project Manager for Commercial Concrete Construction

This role involves critical responsibilities such as assisting in the preparation of preliminary budgets, drafting, estimating, and maintaining the Estimating system, as well as managing meeting minutes and job communications.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in reading, interpreting, and understanding construction contracts, plans, blueprints, and specifications.
- Ability to maintain customer relations to enhance the company’s image.
- Capable of identifying new opportunities for customer and product expansion.
- Collaborate effectively with Architects, Owners, Inspectors, and Subcontractors to meet specifications and code requirements.
- Prepare job schedules to ensure timely project completion according to specifications.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, plan, coordinate, and oversee all assigned projects within budget constraints.
- Ensure all project documentation and reports are completed accurately and professionally.
- Adhere to and enforce all safety, health, and environmental regulations as mandated by government and company policies.
- Direct and supervise project activities to achieve desired performance in both quantity and quality of work, including on-site training and scheduling.
- Uphold the company’s reputation through ethical business practices with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and the public.
Requirements:
- A minimum of three years of experience in a similar role as an Estimator or Project Manager.
Education:
- High School diploma with trade or college-level construction management education preferred.
- College degree in Construction Management or Construction Engineering is advantageous.
- Knowledge of fabrication and installation processes to understand customer needs and structural capabilities.
- Proficiency in business software applications (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook).
- A strong moral compass, as reflected in our Core Values.
