Job Overview

The Accounting Assistant plays a crucial role in facilitating essential accounting and administrative tasks within the organization.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate reconciliation of invoices and vendor statements.
  • Handle general administrative tasks such as copying, filing, and scanning documents.
  • Address inquiries through various communication channels.
  • Perform data entry for invoices and other financial information for processing payments or collections.
  • Draft and send collection letters, along with conducting follow-up communications.
  • Assist in processing financial applications.
  • Compile and prepare weekly reports on accounts receivable.
  • Execute other relevant duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles is advantageous.
  • Proven customer service abilities.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office, with a willingness to learn new software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and capability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes and meet diverse deadlines.
  • Strong commitment to work ethics and dependability.
  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Exhibits a courteous and professional demeanor.

Work Environment:
  • Office setting with cubicle arrangements.
