Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Oversee daily dealership operations, including sales, service, and administrative functions.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customer satisfaction metrics are met, and customer complaints are addressed promptly.
  • Team Management: Recruit, hire, and train service managers, office managers, and sales/finance department managers to meet profit levels.
  • Marketing and Advertising: Assist with the creation of affordable advertising campaigns and programs to increase sales and brand visibility.
  • Financial Management: Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for accuracy and completion.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Learn and uphold all local, state, and federal regulations impacting vehicle sales and the automotive industry.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required; high school diploma or GED equivalent necessary.
  • Experience: Three or more years of experience in a sales manager or general manager position for a dealership or auto group.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the automotive industry and trends.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, leadership track record, and ability to interpret profit and loss statements.
