Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurse Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurse to join our team at Penn State Health. As a per diem RN, you will provide high-quality patient care to children undergoing treatment for cancer or blood disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans
  • Administer medications to patients while monitoring for reactions and side effects
  • Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in Pennsylvania
  • Experience in pediatric hematology/oncology nursing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
