About the Role

Penn State Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Hematology/Oncology team. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to children and families affected by cancer and blood disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to children with cancer and blood disorders, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient responses.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in pediatric hematology/oncology care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork, respect, and open communication.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania or eligibility for licensure.
  • 2+ years of experience in pediatric hematology/oncology or a related field.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of pediatric hematology/oncology care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
