Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurse Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Hematology/Oncology team at Penn State Health. As a Per Diem RN, you will provide high-quality patient care to children undergoing treatment for cancer or blood disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate medical records
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment
  • AHA BLS certification
  • 2+ years of experience in pediatric hematology/oncology or a related field
