Sales Associate/Consultant Job Description
Job Summary
Spitzer Chevrolet and Volkswagen of Amherst is seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Sales Associate/Consultant. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales results.
About the Position
This full-time position involves interacting with customers to understand their needs and preferences, presenting vehicles that meet their requirements, and ensuring a seamless sales process. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Introduce customers to the Spitzer value price sales process and value statements
- Facilitate interviews with customers to discover their preferences, needs, and buying motives
- Present vehicles to customers that meet their needs and explore their interests
- Offer customers involvement in trade-in evaluation, present financial propositions, satisfy customer concerns, and ask for orders
- Conduct Spitzer delivery processes and follow up with customers in a prescribed manner to develop customer loyalty
Requirements
- An outgoing and friendly personality, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to establish rapport with all types of people
- Professional, ethical, and respectful
- Self-starter and self-motivated
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to follow through
- Proficient computer skills, including email
- High school degree
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
