Job Summary:

As a Sales Territory Manager at Performance Foodservice, you will be responsible for managing a sales territory of national, regional, and local multi-unit operators, ensuring customer needs are met and sales budgets are achieved. You will develop and execute quarterly business plans, build long-term relationships with customers, and effectively manage segment markets by location, potential, and size.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage sales territory to meet/exceed customer needs and achieve sales budgets
  • Develop and execute quarterly business plans, including account-specific actions
  • Build long-term relationships with customers by becoming knowledgeable about their business and effectively listening for information to uncover their needs
  • Effectively manage segment markets by location, potential, and size
  • Communicate with local brokers/manufacturer representatives to uncover sales opportunities
  • Follow through on all commitments in a timely manner and match customer needs to the features and benefits of Broadline's service system
  • Communicate customer information, including issues, problems, and needs to distribution center customer service team and merchandising on a regular basis

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of foodservice sales experience
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
