About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Sales Representative SLED to join our growing team. This role will be based in Madison, WI, and will involve working with prospects through the entire sales cycle, from developing new leads to educating prospects and turning qualified prospects into long-term customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate sales processes to promote services, products, equipment, and capabilities for multiple product lines.
  • Work with customers to identify needs, create solutions, and ensure a smooth sales process.
  • Provide accurate reporting and feedback to contribute to attaining sales goals and plan attainment.
  • Identify business opportunities to maintain sales goals and provide in-depth knowledge of competitors and suppliers to management.
  • Maintain customer service relationships with customers throughout the process, addressing any questions and providing assistance as needed.
  • Prepare and present media presentations using PowerPoint to prospective clients.
  • Develop expertise in building top-producing sales contracts through strategic marketing, tactical sales, and key account management.
  • Track all sales activity, contacts, and history in the CRM system.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and customers.
  • Develop new accounts and penetrate existing accounts where previous representatives may have been unsuccessful.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Sales Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of previous field sales experience in SLED.
  • Based in the Madison, WI area.
  • Knowledge of sales strategies, processes, and approaches.
  • Possess an energetic, positive, and professional attitude, being conscientious, enthusiastic, and articulate.
  • Ability to self-motivate and think quickly on your feet in a fast-paced work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Sales Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of previous field sales experience in SLED.
