Housekeeping Services Manager

The Rittenhouse Hotel invites applications for a skilled Housekeeping Services Manager to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping leadership team, this individual will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, and driving efficiency throughout the operation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement effective systems and procedures to drive efficiency and improve guest satisfaction.
  • Manage the housekeeping department's budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective cost control.
  • Hire, train, and supervise housekeeping staff, including room attendants, laundry staff, and janitors.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of housekeeping management experience, preferably in a luxury hotel.
  • Proven track record of managing diverse teams and leading by example.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of cleaning methods, supplies, and equipment.
  • Experience with budget management, inventory control, and procurement.
  • Proficient in housekeeping management software and systems.
