Senior Customer Service Representative

As a Senior Customer Service Representative at WestRock Company, you will play a critical role in building strong relationships with our customers and internal teams.

The Opportunity
  • Represent WestRock Company to customers and act as a liaison between customers, sales, and operations teams.
  • Process customer orders, inquiries, and issues related to orders.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with multiple customers and sales staff.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide single point of contact for strategic customers and sales staff.
  • Communicate effectively with sales, customers, and internal production operations.
  • Assist customers at the request of or in the absence of sales.
  • Develop project timelines and monitor for on-time delivery.
  • Initiate, track, organize, prioritize, and monitor multiple projects.
  • Use creative problem-solving to achieve sales and customer objectives.
  • Communicate customer expectations to planning and scheduling.
  • Gather input, evaluate, and make recommendations from a technical standpoint.
  • Interpret requests for developmental and other artwork.
  • Prepare quotation requests and present quotes to customers.
  • Review costing and invoicing for agreement with signed quotes.
  • Be available to answer production questions.
  • Maintain accurate records of events and alert internal staff and customers of significant problems.
  • Assist sales in technical communications to customers.
  • Back up other areas of customer service as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.). Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in related field required.
  • Demonstrates understanding of product/project specifications.
  • Competent in various software applications and certifications, such as Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Well-organized and able to manage time efficiently.
  • Reliable and able to maintain good attendance.
  • Able to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
