Responsibilities Include:
  • Perform rental trailer inspections (inbound and outbound)
  • Maintain accurate inventory and identify needs in the rental fleet based on market demand
  • Schedule and collaborate with Hale service department and vendors in the area for trailer upkeep and maintenance
  • Acquire Certificates of Insurance for rental units, work with insurance agents via email and telephone
  • Photograph new trailer inventory
  • Provide clear communications with management and customers regarding unit damages and insurance issues
  • Make outgoing calls to customers and vendors as needed
  • Interface and collaborate with others on the Rental Team, as well as other branch locations as needed
  • Comply with the Company's safety program, practices, and procedures
  • Other tasks/projects/duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Experience in a truck, trailer, or heavy-duty equipment industry is a plus
  • Must have experience in customer service
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must be willing to be hands-on and occasionally work outside (inspections)
  • Must be detail-oriented, and able to handle multi-tasking regularly
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office suite (Excel a plus)
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
