Position Overview:

We are seeking a qualified individual for the role of Program Project Manager. This position requires a strong onsite presence and is focused on managing vendor relationships and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Skills and Attributes:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in vendor management, contract compliance, and process enhancement within software development.
  • In-depth knowledge of agile methodologies and project management principles.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.

Desired Skills and Attributes:

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Smartsheet, and familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Octane.
  • Experience managing large-scale projects and utilizing associated management tools and techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop requirements, adhere to schedules, and execute project plans under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Management: Oversee vendor relationships to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with vendors to establish efficient reporting and operational processes.
  • Agile Methodologies: Provide guidance on agile practices such as Kanban and Scrum to enhance project delivery.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to contract commitments and regulatory standards.
  • Team Support: Facilitate the resolution of blockers to support development teams.
  • Deliverable Validation: Confirm acceptance of all deliverables prior to invoicing.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between delivery teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment of objectives.
  • Documentation: Ensure comprehensive documentation of processes and collaborate with vendors on reporting mechanisms.
  • Contract Support: Assist in the development and negotiation of new contracts and statements of work.
  • Process Streamlining: Create and optimize processes for efficient project management.
  • Integration Support: Assist in integrating applications into the company's IT infrastructure as needed.
