Position Overview

As a key player in the Clean Energy Revolution, the role of Enterprise Services Senior Advisor at Southern California Edison (SCE) is pivotal in shaping a sustainable future.

In this capacity, you will be integrated within the Meter to Cash portfolio, specifically focusing on the SAP ISU platform and essential systems related to meter data management, billing processes, and the enterprise data warehouse (SAP BW/Snowflake).

Your primary function will be to bridge the gap between business operations and IT, ensuring optimal performance, adherence to business service level agreements (SLAs), and the reduction of operational disruptions.

Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure that solution designs align with operational metrics.
• Develop and maintain operational reports to track performance.
• Identify and mitigate integration risks that may arise between projects and ongoing operations.
• Implement automation strategies to enhance operational efficiency.

Additionally, you will cultivate and sustain robust relationships with clients across various organizational units, leveraging technology and business solutions effectively. Your role will require independent decision-making and active engagement with stakeholders, including senior management.

Daily Responsibilities
• Establish and uphold standards and best practices for system integration across projects within Customer Service and other portfolios to ensure seamless transitions to operational phases.
• Collaborate with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to guarantee application stability, data integrity, and timely service delivery while implementing service enhancements.
• Lead initiatives in Enterprise Technology services and foster collaboration across diverse business functions to drive operational stabilization and continuous improvement within the Customer Service portfolio, working alongside other IT divisions as necessary.
• Spearhead digital transformation efforts, including automation across various business functions to achieve operational efficiencies.
• Oversee the operational integration of large-scale programs and new technological solutions.

Qualifications
Essentials:
• A minimum of ten years of experience in Information Technology design, development, and operations.
• Proven experience in leading projects or significant business initiatives, with a track record of collaborating with end-users to define business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Familiarity with SAP systems, integration processes, and data warehousing.

Preferred:
• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated proficiency in working collaboratively with multiple teams across IT and business sectors, committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Understanding of customer service business processes and regulatory frameworks within the utilities sector.
• Knowledge of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) practices, processes, and principles.
• Experience in matrix management, effectively achieving desired outcomes through negotiation and influence.
• Awareness of emerging technologies to execute a variety of specialized and complex assignments across different service types.
• Self-motivated with strong analytical, organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and listening abilities, capable of engaging with diverse audiences from technical teams to high-level business stakeholders.

Work Environment
This position operates in a hybrid work mode, requiring attendance at an SCE facility for a specified number of days, with the flexibility to work remotely on other days. Employees are expected to reside in California.
