Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two years in culinary roles or food service production experience
  • At least one year in a supervisory or managerial capacity
  • Experience working with elderly populations is preferred
  • Ability to execute recipes accurately
  • Knowledge of safe food handling practices and relevant regulations
  • Demonstrated technical culinary skills
  • Familiarity with standardized recipe techniques
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare meals and snacks according to established menus
  • Ensure meals and snacks are visually appealing and flavorful
  • Adhere to proper food handling protocols during preparation, storage, and serving
  • Oversee the dining services team
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area
  • Ensure a safe working environment in the kitchen
  • Assist the Production Manager in managing food inventory and supplies
  • Participate actively in the dining service Quality Assurance Program
