- Complies with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Exhibits strong teamwork with colleagues.
- Detail-oriented, ensuring all tasks are executed accurately and safely, potentially hundreds of times.
- Completes all daily assigned tasks safely within designated time frames.
- Immediately reports any substandard quality products to a supervisor.
- Handles food properly in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Notifies supervisors or managers of any facility needs or equipment malfunctions promptly.
- Maintains confidentiality and security of relevant information, adhering to applicable laws and guidelines.
- Possesses the capability to pass the Serv Safe Exam.
- Coordinates activities with fellow line cooks to ensure timely meal delivery.
- Follows standard recipes for food preparation, testing cooked items for proper cooking and seasoning.
- Assesses cooking methods, times, and temperatures to prevent over or under production.
- Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills while working with diverse individuals and various levels of authority.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Participates in the routine preparation and cooking of food.
- Assists in maintaining kitchen and dining area equipment and utensils in a safe and sanitary condition.
- Receives food deliveries, ensuring proper rotation and storage to avoid spoilage.
- Performs additional duties of a similar or related nature as required or assigned.
- Possesses a fundamental understanding of kitchen operations and workflow, including dishwashing procedures.
- Exhibits advanced cooking skills, knife proficiency, and food identification and fabrication skills.
May require exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects. Prolonged standing and walking with mobility are necessary. Bending and reaching from a height of up to 6 feet is required. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 40 pounds without difficulty. Normal hearing, vision, hand/eye coordination, and manual dexterity are essential.
