Client Support Specialist

GENERAL SUMMARY
The client support specialist is tasked with managing non-urgent inbound and outbound communications with healthcare professionals while ensuring exceptional service and a positive demeanor.
1 Year of experience in a call center environment is preferred.
Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle non-urgent inbound calls from medical facilities, including hospitals and nursing homes.
- Accurately input patient data and medical necessity information.
- Coordinate with facilities to arrange non-urgent transport services.
- Verify patient insurance and benefits.
- Ensure that all necessary documentation is submitted and uploaded into the CAD system.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Attention to detail.
- Strong time management abilities.
- Proficient and precise data entry skills.
- Capability to operate various office equipment and EMS CAD software.
- Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with a clear speaking ability.
- Capacity to project a caring and professional image over the phone.
- Ability to engage positively and professionally with colleagues and clients.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The work schedule consists of three 14-hour shifts per week, with options for either Monday through Wednesday or Thursday through Saturday. Shift hours are from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, including potential holiday shifts. Occasional overtime may be required.
This role involves sedentary work with extended periods of sitting. Candidates must be able to bend, reach, sit, or stand at the designated dispatch station during 14-hour shifts.
