Job Summary

As a key member of the Chesterfield County Public Schools team, the Building Operations Supervisor will be responsible for conducting general building maintenance and repairs. This includes replacing light bulbs, plumbing fixtures and stoppages, electrical switches, ballast outlets, repairing doors and furniture, and replacing fan filters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine building maintenance and repairs to ensure a safe and healthy environment for students and staff.
  • Perform tasks such as replacing light bulbs, plumbing fixtures, and electrical switches.
  • Repair doors, furniture, and other equipment as needed.
  • Replace fan filters and other maintenance tasks to ensure optimal building performance.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building maintenance and operations, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with relevant experience in a similar role preferred.
