Manager of Engineering and Maintenance Operations

Overview
Ingenium Talent is seeking a dedicated Manager of Engineering and Maintenance Operations to lead our client's initiatives in the automotive sector. This role involves overseeing comprehensive engineering and maintenance functions across the facility.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and execute efficient, cost-effective manufacturing techniques that align with product specifications and uphold quality benchmarks.
- Identify and implement enhancements to production methodologies, processes, and controls, with a focus on environmental considerations.
- Lead the design and development of manufacturing workflows, incorporating all SMED and POKY-YOKE strategies.
- Oversee all aspects related to the physical plant, including environmental management, and coordinate capital expenditure for production and testing needs.
- Supervise the maintenance and repair operations for all facilities, vehicles, equipment, and tools.
- Support all departments in enhancing their physical work environments, ensuring minimal environmental impact through effective planning and execution.
- Establish policies and procedures for the Maintenance Department and advise management on best practices.
- Perform additional tasks as required or deemed necessary.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Manufacturing Engineering, with at least 5 years in the automotive industry.
- A proactive, innovative individual with strong ethical standards and a professional demeanor.
- Exceptional technical abilities, analytical skills, sound judgment, and a strong operational focus.
- Highly organized and self-motivated, with a collaborative team spirit.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with individuals at all organizational levels.
- A decisive leader with a comprehensive understanding of Lean Manufacturing Systems.
