Oversee, manage, and optimize departmental operations as required.
Assess, refine, and advance production methodologies. (Identify improvement opportunities, formulate and execute solutions, manage new initiatives and enhancements, and showcase measurable outcomes in a professional manner).
Evaluate and strategize workforce allocation, spatial needs, workflow, and design equipment and workspace layouts for optimal productivity.
Engage with suppliers to ascertain product specifications and coordinate the procurement of equipment, materials, or components.
Collaborate with management and team members regarding manufacturing capabilities, production timelines, etc., to streamline production workflows.
Exhibit a proactive approach to resolving departmental challenges (take initiative to become the go-to expert on production machinery, both mechanical and electrical).
Recognize potential quality issues from schematics and collaborate with design teams to address challenges that arise during manufacturing.**Must possess adaptability and be willing to work across various functions within the department to achieve organizational Goals & Objectives.
Qualifications:
Familiarity with product design principles.
Understanding of materials and component fabrication techniques.
Knowledge of tooling and production machinery capabilities. (Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and support repairs/improvements to production machinery).
Competent in personal computer and software applications (Programming skills should include but are not limited to PLCs, HMIs, Sensors, Controllers, Drives, etc.).
A High School Diploma or GED Certificate is required, along with a minimum of two years' experience in a related role; candidates must demonstrate the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
