Position Summary

The Integrations Engineering Manager plays a crucial role in shaping an inspiring workplace where skilled professionals are empowered to create outstanding customer experiences. Reporting directly to the VP of Engineering, you will utilize your technical acumen and innovative mindset to tackle critical challenges and guide the strategic direction of our engineering division.

This role requires a forward-thinking technologist who is ready to challenge the status quo and inspire a diverse team of engineers. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality software applications that align with our company’s mission and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the design and implementation of integrations with third-party systems.
  • Support escalated issues from the Technical Support team.
  • Evaluate client needs in collaboration with the Vantaca team.
  • Drive improvements in processes and workflows within your team and the broader organization.
  • Break down projects into manageable tasks for your team, utilizing agile methodologies.
  • Provide constructive feedback during code reviews and architectural discussions.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with direct reports to support their professional development.
  • Oversee the architecture and design of Vantaca’s external API, ensuring scalability and robustness.
  • Develop strategies for seamless integration with external systems and monitor performance metrics.
Qualifications
  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering and product technologies.
  • 2+ years in a leadership role managing software engineering teams.
  • Proven mentorship experience within engineering teams.
  • Strong ability to collaborate across all organizational levels and drive change.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and prioritization skills.
  • Experience working closely with product managers and designers to deliver effective software solutions.
  • Passion for coding and problem-solving as challenges arise.
