Position Summary

The Integrations Engineering Manager plays a pivotal role in cultivating a motivating workplace that empowers talented individuals to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive business outcomes through innovative products. Reporting directly to the VP of Engineering, you will utilize your technical acumen and innovative mindset to tackle critical challenges and shape the strategic vision for our engineering team.

This role requires a forward-thinking technologist who is eager to challenge the status quo and inspire a team of skilled engineers. You will oversee the development of top-tier software applications that provide optimized digital solutions, aligning with the company's mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the design and implementation of integrations with third-party systems.
  • Support escalated issues from the Technical Support team.
  • Evaluate client needs in collaboration with the Vantaca team.
  • Drive improvements in processes and workflows within your team and the broader development organization.
  • Break down projects into manageable tasks for your team, utilizing agile methodologies.
  • Provide constructive feedback on code reviews and architectural documents to support team members in making informed technical decisions.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with direct reports to support their professional growth and development.
  • Lead the architecture and design of the Vantaca external API, ensuring a scalable and robust product.
  • Develop strategies for seamless integration with external systems and oversee real-time monitoring of integration performance.
Qualifications
  • B.S. / M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering and product technologies.
  • 2+ years in a leadership role managing software engineering teams.
  • Proven mentorship experience within engineering teams, including code reviews and direct management.
  • Ability to collaborate across all organizational levels and act as a change agent.
  • Strong stakeholder management and prioritization skills in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience partnering with product managers and designers to create user-centric software solutions.
  • Inspiration to code and assist in problem-solving as challenges arise.
