Job Summary:

The Business Development Center Manager is responsible for overseeing the hiring and training of representatives who contact potential buyers with the goal of scheduling appointments for the buyers to meet with our sales representatives. The team will receive inbound and make outbound calls based on leads generated by our marketing efforts.

Business Development Center Manager Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Execute Outbound Internet and Phone Campaigns: Create and implement effective strategies to engage potential buyers and drive sales.
  • Maintain Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Sales and Service Forecasts: Analyze sales data and make informed decisions to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Manage and Track All Leads: Ensure all leads are followed up with in a timely manner to maximize conversion rates.
  • Manage Day-to-Day Business of the Business Development Center: Oversee the daily operations of the BDC, including staff management and customer service.
  • Collect and Analyze Business Metrics: Gather and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimize business processes.
  • Provide Training and Ongoing Support: Train and support business development representatives to help them understand and achieve the dealership's goals.
  • Work Closely with Executive and Department Managers: Collaborate with senior management to develop appointment setting strategies and drive business growth.
  • Answer Customer Inquiries and Calls: Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Business Development Center Manager Requirements:
  • Strong Communication, Organization, Time Management, Computer, and Basic Math Skills: Possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines.
  • Team Player with Positive Energy and Eagerness to Improve: Demonstrate a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow with the company.
  • Competitive and Self-Motivated Attitude: Thrive in a fast-paced environment and be driven to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Previous Sales Experience: Possess a proven track record of success in sales, with a strong understanding of the automotive industry.
  • Previous Management Experience Preferred: Previous experience in a management role is preferred, but not required.
  • Automotive Industry Experience Preferred: Experience in the automotive industry is preferred, but not required.
