Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Mallard Creek Surgery Center. As a Perioperative Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services, providing exceptional patient care, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to established standards and protocols
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient surgical procedures
- Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient education, ensuring patients and families are informed and prepared for surgical procedures
- Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, adhering to established policies and procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of solutions
- 2 years of ambulatory experience required, with a focus on perioperative nursing
- PACU experience is highly desirable
- Registered Nurse licensure in the state of North Carolina
- Current BLS certification
