About the Role:

The Labor Scheduler will play a critical role in supporting the production of our highly complex, 24/7 brewery by ensuring we have the right people scheduled at the right time. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, flexible, and able to adapt to ever-changing priorities and last-minute pivots to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex scheduling functions, including interpreting and applying relevant union contract language.
  • Prepare and distribute labor schedules in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Extensive contact with employees and supervisors relating to scheduling, vacations, sick leave, and payroll.
  • Review scheduling practices and identify opportunities to improve posted scheduling accuracy and internal customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in weekly and weekend scheduling reviews and validate necessary changes to posting requirements.
  • Track scheduling performance and lead discussions on scheduling priorities and KPIs in department meetings.
  • Maintain up-to-date documents and coordinate leaves of absences, including FMLA and Medical Leave.
  • Provide excellent service to employees and maintain master data, scheduling requirements planning, and standardized scheduling processes.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma required, college degree preferred.
  • Four years related scheduling experience preferred.
  • Proficient in computer systems, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed person with excellent attention to detail and strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives at one time and prioritize effectively.
  • Availability to work daily and weekend overtime (Saturday and Sunday).
