Job Summary

The Sales Representative is responsible for managing the pipeline of potential customers and partnering with them to complete their orders & coordinate installation of garage doors, entry doors, security & storm doors, pet doors, awnings, etc. This role ensures that all necessary information is obtained and shared with all appropriate parties (customers, internal departments, installation team, contractors, etc.).

Key Responsibilities
  • Expected to achieve or exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Gather necessary information from customers/contractors and provide job estimates.
  • Generate new leads and follow up with potential leads.
  • Meet with customers onsite to provide them with product information and project plans.
  • Working with Purchasing team to ensure all materials are ordered accurately and in time for installation.
  • Clearly communicate with technicians and other team members regarding upcoming and ongoing installation/service jobs.
  • Provide customers/contractors with the appropriate forms and documents to prepare for installation.
  • Act as liaison between customer and contractor as needed.
  • Attend Home shows, networking events, and other company events as needed.
  • Travel through assigned territory to site-check customer residential/commercial properties.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a sales role.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Basic electrical/construction knowledge and/or experience preferred.
  • Commercial door and access product experience preferred.
