About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist II PRN to join our team at Research Medical Center. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing sonography procedures, including routine sonograms and interventional sonograms, under the supervision of a radiologist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform sonography procedures, including routine sonograms and interventional sonograms, under the supervision of a radiologist.
  • Participate in Performance Improvement and Quality Improvement activities.
  • Work within the guidelines established in the policies and procedure manual and comply with all safety and infection control guidelines.
  • Work in accordance with JCAHO, State or other regulatory or accreditation agencies in the performance of duties.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology and/or School of Sonography.
  • Current registration/licensure/certification in good standing with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Must be registered in vascular and a minimum of two of the following areas: OB/Gyn, Abdomen or Breast.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire.
  • Minimum of one-year hospital department experience in medical sonography to include biopsies.
