Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Visual Content Specialist to join our Digital team at Classic Concepts. As a Visual Content Specialist, you will be responsible for enhancing and retouching digital images, managing, trafficking, and deploying assets to ensure high-quality visuals for various platforms. You will work closely with the photographer and collaborate with other team members to create compelling visual content.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Image Enhancement: Confidently take raw camera images and execute the edit process to brand standards using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Lightroom, etc.).
  • Image Optimization: Crop, resize, and optimize images for various digital platforms while maintaining visual integrity.
  • Color Correction: Color correct and adjust exposure, contrast, and saturation to achieve desired results.
  • Image Retouching: Remove blemishes, artifacts, and imperfections in images.
  • Quality Control: Ensure consistent quality and style of images according to brand style guidelines.
  • Image Rendering: Render images and/or outsource rendering to company standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the team to manage images and quality standards across all company divisions, including furniture, textiles, and e-commerce.
  • Project Management: Organized skill set to track photography requirements across all divisions.
  • Asset Management: Manage and organize a large volume of digital assets efficiently.
  • File Trafficking: Support the trafficking of files across divisions, in-house, and with outside vendors.
  • Quality Assurance: Understand and implement correct naming conventions and sizing of images as required.
  • Freelancer Management: Perform quality control checks for outsourced editing and/or freelancers.
  • Asset Maintenance: Oversee daily maintenance and usability of assets.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment independently and as an integral part of a team.
  • Video Editing: Video editing skills a plus.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in photography, visual arts, graphic design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Visual Content Specialist or a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing photo editing skills.
  • Technical Skills: Solid understanding of color correction, exposure adjustment, and other photo editing techniques. Proficiency in industry-standard photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, various DAM software, Air Table project management software, etc.).
  • Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, file management, and ability to work under tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with people at all levels is essential.
  • Microsoft Office Skills: Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams).
Work Environment:

This job is performed indoors in a traditional office setting. Activities include extensive periods of sitting and extensive work at a computer monitor.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
