Position Overview:

The Audio Visual Systems Specialist will be an integral part of a dynamic IT team dedicated to enhancing the operational capabilities of our organization. This role focuses on the design, implementation, and management of all Audio Visual (A/V) and Low Voltage systems, ensuring an exceptional experience for all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion the values of our organization while redefining the guest experience through innovative A/V solutions.
  • Collaborate with external partners to assess equipment requirements for live events, ensuring seamless A/V setup and operation.
  • Utilize industry best practices to design and implement A/V and Low Voltage systems tailored to meet the needs of our property and its users.
  • Oversee the installation and verification of A/V equipment, including speaker systems, Digital Signal Processors, video walls, and low voltage cabling.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures for the operation and maintenance of A/V and Low Voltage systems.
  • Identify and resolve potential issues related to A/V system performance and reliability.
  • Manage the installation and maintenance of low voltage cabling, including fiber optic and coaxial cabling.
  • Establish preventive maintenance protocols for A/V systems, ensuring equipment longevity and performance.
  • Monitor and repair various lighting control systems, including advanced dimming technologies.
  • Provide technical support for A/V software and hardware inquiries.
  • Maintain an inventory of A/V and Low Voltage equipment, ensuring essential items are readily available for repairs and installations.
  • Document modifications to A/V systems and update technical schematics accordingly.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and standards related to A/V and Low Voltage installations.
  • Be available for various shifts to support live events and operational needs.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Extensive experience in commercial A/V technologies and systems.
  • Certifications in A/V programming and maintenance are advantageous.
  • Passion for learning and adapting to new technologies in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
