Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Unit Coordinator to join our team at Conway Regional Health System. As a Unit Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our unit, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting our clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the unit, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
  • Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and statistics.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in software applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
  • Physical demands include standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Working Conditions:
