Position Summary:


The Clinical Education Specialist plays a vital role in enhancing the professional development and competency of nursing staff and other healthcare professionals. This position is dedicated to fostering continuous education, facilitating transformative learning experiences, and promoting professional growth.

The Specialist is tasked with the comprehensive delivery of educational initiatives and programs. Collaborating closely with team members, the Specialist assesses needs, identifies educational gaps, plans, implements, coordinates, facilitates, and evaluates various educational activities.

Through these efforts, the Clinical Education Specialist contributes to the organization's mission of delivering outstanding patient care and upholding nursing's commitment to excellence in independent and responsible practice, with a strong focus on patient advocacy and innovative care in a supportive environment.


Important Note:
This role is classified as a "Safety Sensitive Position" in accordance with relevant state regulations. Employees under the influence of substances may pose a risk to patients and clients receiving care.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution is mandatory.
- A current, unrestricted nursing license is essential.
- A minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience is required.
- Previous experience in educational roles, such as unit educator or system educator, is preferred.
- ANCC NPD specialty certification is desirable; if not held at the time of employment, it must be obtained within two years of hire.
