Opportunity for NP/PA in Pediatric Critical Care at IHC Health Services, Inc.

As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) specializing in Pediatric Critical Care, you will be an integral part of our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). Your role may involve providing care at multiple locations within our health system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive care to pediatric patients ranging from infants to young adults in critical conditions
  • Engage in collaborative efforts with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
  • Participate in advanced medical procedures, including ECMO and intubation
  • Adapt to a rotating schedule that includes day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess at least two years of clinical experience in a pediatric intensive care environment.

Advanced Practice Providers are vital in advancing research and enhancing the quality of patient care.

Minimum Requirements:

Current state licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA). Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is required. BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers is also necessary, along with any additional certifications that may be mandated.
