The Finance Analyst position is integral to the finance team based in Del Rey, CA. This role is anticipated to deliver both financial and strategic business guidance while effectively communicating with senior leadership.

To excel in this position, one must comprehend how operational choices and processes influence business and financial outcomes, thereby educating colleagues within and outside the Finance/Accounting departments on P&L analysis.

Key Collaborators: Various departments across Del Rey and Buttonwillow locations, including Fresh, Beverage, Supply Chain Operations leaders, and support functions such as HR, Quality, Sanitation, Safety, Customer Service, Corporate Finance & Accounting teams. This finance role will also engage with our primary external growers.

Engaging Projects: We continually seek to enhance our processes and elevate our operational team's financial acumen, which may involve developing new KPIs for emerging businesses like spring arils or assisting operations teams in quantifying savings from process improvements and new product development packaging trials.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the monthly closing process, including variance analysis; prepare journal entries, conduct general ledger assessments, and manage other accounting-related tasks.
• Oversee monthly cost center evaluations, including presenting financial outcomes to senior management.
• Generate Plant KPIs and engage in KPI review sessions.
• Administer the Outside Grower process, which includes creating relevant purchase orders, preparing daily pack-outs, and calculating payments.
• Leverage Oracle financial systems and other software to develop and communicate insightful reporting tools.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of progressive experience in finance or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in financial analysis, with the ability to effectively convey findings and recommendations.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.

Compensation: $65,000-$75,000, potentially including a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be determined based on skills and experience.
