The Finance Analyst will play a crucial role within the finance department. This position is anticipated to deliver both financial and strategic business insights while effectively communicating with senior leadership.

The role requires a deep understanding of how operational choices and processes influence business and financial outcomes, enabling the individual to guide others in analyzing profit and loss results.

Key Collaborators: Various departments across our operations, including Fresh, Beverage, Supply Chain Operations, as well as support functions such as Human Resources, Quality Assurance, Sanitation, Safety, Customer Service, and Corporate Finance & Accounting teams. This finance position will also engage with our primary external growers.

Engaging Projects: We continually seek to enhance our processes and the financial acumen of our operational teams, which may involve developing new key performance indicators for emerging business lines or assisting operations in quantifying savings from process modifications.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in the monthly closing process, including variance analysis; prepare journal entries, conduct general ledger assessments, and other accounting-related tasks.
  • Oversee monthly cost center evaluations, including presenting financial outcomes to senior management.
  • Prepare and review Plant KPIs.
  • Manage the Outside Grower process, which includes generating related purchase orders and calculating daily pack-outs and payments.
  • Utilize Oracle financial systems and other software to create, develop, and communicate valuable reporting tools.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of progressive experience in finance or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a similar discipline.
  • Experience with Oracle or comparable ERP systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to conduct financial analysis and effectively convey findings and recommendations.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.
Compensation: $65,000-$75,000, potentially including a discretionary bonus, with final compensation based on skills and experience.
