The Finance Analyst will play a crucial role within the finance department. This position is expected to deliver both financial and strategic business guidance while effectively communicating with senior leadership.

The role requires a comprehensive understanding of how operational choices and processes influence business and financial outcomes, enabling the analyst to educate colleagues across Finance and Accounting in interpreting P&L results.

Key Collaborators: Various departments across multiple sites, including Fresh, Beverage, Supply Chain Operations, as well as support functions such as HR, Quality, Sanitation, Safety, Customer Service, and Corporate Finance & Accounting teams. This finance position will also engage with our primary external growers.

Engaging Projects: We continuously seek to enhance our processes and the financial acumen of our operational teams, which may involve developing new KPIs for emerging businesses or assisting operations in quantifying savings from process improvements and packaging trials.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in the monthly closing process, providing variance analysis; prepare journal entries, conduct general ledger reviews, and manage other accounting-related tasks.
  • Oversee monthly cost center evaluations, including presenting financial outcomes to senior management.
  • Compile Plant KPIs and engage in KPI assessment meetings.
  • Manage the Outside Grower process, which includes generating related purchase orders, preparing daily pack-outs, and calculating payments.
  • Leverage Oracle financial systems and other software to create, develop, and communicate insightful reporting tools.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of progressive experience in finance or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to conduct financial analysis and effectively convey findings and recommendations.
  • Demonstrated intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.
Compensation: $65,000-$75,000, with potential for a discretionary bonus based on skills and experience.
