Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at KPH Healthcare Services, Inc. as a Pharmacy Manager - Long Term Care. This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest quality of service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the operations of the Pharmacy department, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Develop and implement effective plans to achieve departmental goals and objectives, including budgeting, staffing, and inventory management.
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to pharmacy staff, including training and development programs to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and coordination of services.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, including patient files, inventory, and financial reports.
  • Ensure a clean and professional environment, adhering to all safety and infection control protocols.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in pharmacy and healthcare services, integrating new knowledge and best practices into daily operations.
  • Ensure confidentiality and maintain patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • BS or PharmD degree in Pharmacy.
  • Valid State License and current registration to practice Pharmacy.
  • Ability to stand/walk throughout majority of shift.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment and/or random drug screening test.
  • Special Conditions of Employment: drug test, initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring, and any additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position.
  • Required Training: HIPAA Privacy Course, HIPAA Security Course, Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Course, HIPAA Privacy CE Mastery Exam, HIPAA Security CE Mastery Exam, and Fraud, Waste, and Abuse CE Mastery Exam.
  • Job Skills Required: strong customer service and communication skills, strong organizational skills, basic keyboarding skills, management skills, leadership skills, and behavioral traits such as intuitive/open-minded, achievement drive/commitment, positive/supportive, and flexibility.
Compensation

The salary for this position is $81,123.496.06 per year, with the final offer determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience, and education.
