Job Summary:

Durham Public Schools is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated K-2 Interventionist/MTSS Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing targeted support to students in grades K-2, implementing MTSS strategies, and collaborating with teachers to ensure student success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students in grades K-2, focusing on academic and social-emotional development.
  • Implement MTSS strategies to promote student growth and achievement.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Conduct progress monitoring and assessments to inform instruction.
  • Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure student success.
Requirements:

Certified teacher with experience in elementary education and MTSS implementation.
