Job Overview:

The Process Planner plays a key role in developing and implementing manufacturing processes that meet production requirements, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze Existing Assembly Processes: Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize production output.
  • Design and Develop New Processes: Develop and implement new manufacturing processes and procedures to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
  • Process Documentation: Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and process flow diagrams.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all processes are compliant with relevant regulations, including health and safety standards and environmental regulations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, to identify and address process-related issues.
  • Process Monitoring: Develop and implement process monitoring systems to track production performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that all staff are trained on relevant manufacturing processes.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to production teams to troubleshoot process-related issues.
  • Industry Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to manufacturing processes.
