Manufacturing Specialist

At Raytheon Technologies, we're seeking a skilled Manufacturing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities include:
- Setting up and operating NC milling/grinding machines, vertical turret lathes, or VTCs to perform routine production operations on a variety of similar weldments and assemblies.
- Working from operation sheets, part travelers, BOROPS, and oral instruction to set up equipment for grinding, turning, facing, boring, and/or chamfering operations involving a limited number of surfaces to be machined.
- Obtaining operator certification to accept/reject parts.
- Collaborating with engineers, quality assurance, programmers, and other production personnel to resolve machining problems and assist in part process development.
Requirements include:
- 1+ years of manufacturing, automotive, or related trade experience.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Will learn policies and procedures of Pratt and Whitney.
- Will have opportunities to explore multiple processes in manufacturing, inspection, machining, assembly.
