Join the County of Kenosha's Seasonal Workforce
The County of Kenosha Parks Division is currently seeking applications for Fee Collectors to operate at a public beach during the upcoming season.

Under general oversight, Fee Collectors will be tasked with the responsibility of collecting entrance fees from visitors at the beach.

We are in search of individuals who can uphold regulations and consistently demonstrate behavior that earns the respect and trust of our patrons.

Compensation:
$14.00 per hour
Incentive:
A seasonal employee who is successfully hired and remains employed for a minimum of 30 days will receive a $200.00 bonus added to their paycheck.

WORK SCHEDULE
The beach operates from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Typical work hours range from 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.
Workdays include weekends and holidays, with schedules subject to weather conditions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect parking and park entrance fees
- Assist with vehicle parking management
- Address general inquiries from park visitors
- Enforce park regulations
- Perform additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 16 years old at the time of application

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Ability to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions
- Proficient in counting money accurately and providing change
- Capability to observe safety protocols
- Ability to enforce rules and regulations effectively
- Maintain positive interactions with the public and colleagues through effective communication
- Work respectfully in a diverse and inclusive environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical demands outlined here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
- Requires standing for extended periods during an eight-hour shift
- Requires a full range of physical movement, including bending, reaching, and lifting.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat.

The FICA Alternative plan replaces the payment of FICA tax and instead contributes a percentage of pre-tax wages into an investment account for the benefit of the employee.
