Responsibilities
  • Assist in performing various nursing care services for patients, including vital sign monitoring, personal care, and mobility assistance.

  • Prepare patients for discharge and accompany them as needed, ensuring a smooth transition to their next care setting.
  • Stock and maintain supplies and equipment, utilizing time and resources efficiently to support patient care needs.
  • Assist with delegated clerical duties, such as answering phones, relaying messages, and preparing medical records.
  • Orient new patients and significant others to the nursing unit, providing a warm and welcoming introduction to our care team.
  • Perform mechanical and manual operations of equipment, recognizing common mechanical issues and taking corrective action as needed.
  • Work in a constant state of alertness and safety, prioritizing patient well-being and staff safety.
  • May perform point-of-care testing according to policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Requirements
  • Passing grade on state-specific exam required.
  • No experience required, but a willingness to learn and grow in a supportive environment is essential.
