Job Title:
Seasonal HR Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate the in-season hiring of part-time employees.
Find and attend job fairs throughout the Madison community.
Work with department heads to execute the orientation and training of new and returning part-time employees.
Work with department managers to schedule part-time seasonal staff for games.
Oversee part-time employee check-in procedures for all Mallards and Madison Night Mares home games.

Payroll:
Onboard new employees to the payroll system.
Work with the finance department to perform accurate and timely review, input, and analysis of timecard data for bi-weekly payrolls.
Work with the finance department to provide routine and ad-hoc payroll reporting and analysis to management.
Manage distribution of payroll checks.

General HR:
Manage a seasonal HR intern.
Direct the HR-related work of a supporting seasonal Finance intern.
Maintain employee files, including I-9, work permits, and Roster Document, to ensure paperwork is completed in a timely manner and follows all laws.
Establish and execute a retention plan for all part-time employees.
Work the majority of Madison Mallards and Madison Night Mares games with sufficient coverage from other staff members on nights not present at the ballpark.
Serve as direct manager of HR interns.
Abide by all terms of the Madison Mallards Seasonal/Intern Handbook.
Abide by all COVID-19 safety protocols and reporting requirements, as determined by the employer and municipal/governmental mandates in effect during employment.
