Assistant Branch Manager

Job SummaryWe are seeking an entry-level Assistant Branch Manager to join our team. As an ABM, you will be responsible for helping our customers meet their financial goals by originating new loan business, educating customers on our consumer lending services, and assisting with loan applications and closings. You will also have the opportunity to develop and implement plans to meet sales goals, promote our core values, and ensure an outstanding client experience.
Responsibilities- Originate new loan business by listening to customers, understanding their needs, and recommending the best consumer loan and voluntary product solutions
- Educate customers on our consumer lending services, including how to improve credit and consolidate debt
- Assist with loan applications and closings, and make payment reminder calls when needed
- Develop and implement plans to meet sales goals, promote our core values, and ensure an outstanding client experience
- Assist the Branch Manager with recruiting and training, and contribute to the success of the branch
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Sales, or a related field
- 1 year or more of customer-facing sales experience (i.e. retail sales, goal-oriented, incentive-based)
- Professional demeanor, positive attitude, strong communication and customer relations skills
- Ability to work well independently, as well as a team member in a fast-paced environment and successfully navigate priorities
- Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance, and a satisfactory driving record
- Must meet our acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history, and pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to meet the eligibility requirements for insurance licensing in order to sell voluntary insurance products
- Willingness and ability to relocate for promotion into a Branch Manager role
