Job Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the month-end closing activities by preparing and recording journal entries, conducting variance analysis, and ensuring precise reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist in enhancing processes, automation initiatives, and the evaluation of new methodologies.
  • Support reconciliation tasks and facilitate audit processes.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure an efficient month-end closing experience.
  • Identify and address control deficiencies, ensuring alignment with risk management protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and record journal entries across multiple accounts.
  • Conduct analysis of fluctuations in balance sheets and income statements.
  • Assist in reconciling balance sheet accounts and resolving outstanding issues.
  • Support both external audits and internal evaluations.
  • Contribute to the overall performance of the team and achievement of departmental objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • 4-7 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting.
  • Experience with multinational corporations or significant public accounting firms is preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
