POSITION SUMMARY

As a Beverage Service Attendant, you will be responsible for delivering food and drinks to guests in a courteous and professional manner. Your role is crucial in ensuring a delightful dining experience by adhering to our established service protocols. You will also play a key role in enhancing the financial performance of the establishment. Weekend availability is essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proactively assess and fulfill guests' needs, ensuring prompt acknowledgment and response.
  • Deliver efficient and courteous service, including detailed descriptions of menu offerings, taking orders accurately, and utilizing the point of sale system for timely processing.
  • Accurately process guest payments, adhering to established cash handling and payment procedures.
  • Engage with guests consistently, maintaining a warm, friendly, and positive demeanor.
  • Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all service areas in line with departmental standards.
  • Work efficiently and safely at all times.
  • Comply with all departmental policies and service protocols.
  • Maintain excellent guest relations at all times.
  • Be knowledgeable about the resort's amenities and local attractions to provide accurate information to guests.
  • Participate in safety initiatives and adhere to all safety reporting and behavior guidelines.
  • Contribute to community service, sustainability, and environmental efforts of the resort.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Mandatory Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • A minimum of 12 months of experience in a high-volume beverage or nightlife environment.
  • Familiarity with various alcoholic beverages, including spirits, wine, champagne, and mixed drinks; experience with bottle service is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid Food Handlers Card and Responsible Beverage Service certification.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English with guests, management, and colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPR certification is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent or occasional physical activities include reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting, and climbing. Regular standing and walking are required for property inspections.
  • Constant physical activities include grasping, turning, and fine motor skills.
  • Occasional long periods of standing may be necessary.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 10 lbs. frequently and 25 lbs. occasionally.
  • Vision requirements include the ability to read small print and see details clearly beyond arm's reach.
  • Hearing requirements include the ability to communicate via telephone and two-way radio, respond to the public, and converse with staff. Ability to hear alarms and emergency signals is essential.
